We strive to make Children’s Dental Center Hernando feel like home to our patients. We want our patients and parents to feel like family. Our lobby is very inviting, with Disney movies playing and books for our younger patients. We have video games for our older patients to enjoy. On most days, our Goldendoodle, Honey, walks around the office to ease any anxious patients during their visit. Patients can even watch movies while their teeth are being cleaned!
Community Dentists
Dr. Rhoads, Dr. Coleman, and our staff live and work in Desoto County. We see our patients at church, on the ball fields, and the grocery store. We’re a dedicated part of this community, and are committed to seeing it improve, one smile at a time.
Both Dr. Rhoads and Dr. Coleman are pediatric dental specialists who have completed a residency at a major children's hospital for two to three years after dental school.
We pride ourselves on having an amazing dental staff, most of whom are parents, too. Our goal is to be a family-oriented practice with the parents knowing that we will treat their kids like our own. We want kids to have fun at the dentist and look forward to coming back.

Children’s Dental Center Hernando uses advanced dental technology for the most accurate and comfortable diagnostics and treatment. We offer Nu-smile zirconia crowns and white fillings, and are one of the only practices in the area to offer soft-tissue laser treatment for lip and tongue-ties.
